Johor Duty Free (JDF), formerly known as Zapin Duty Free, officially marked the grand opening of JDF Berjaya Waterfront on 23rd October 2026, bringing together invited guests and partners to mark the occasion. Located at Berjaya Waterfront in Stulang Laut, the destination brings four distinct retail concepts under one roof.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Yousef Aba Zid Ahmad and Marcus Tan Dexun, Directors of Johor Duty Free Sdn. Bhd., joined by Lee Ting Han, chairman of the Johor State Investment, Trade, Consumer Affairs and Human Resources Committee. The ceremony was witnessed by esteemed VIP, ACP Azrul Hisham bin Mohd Shaffei, the Officer in Charge of Police District (OCPD) for Johor Bahru South.
JDF Berjaya Waterfront offers a range of products for gifting, sharing and personal enjoyment. JDF Confectionery features chocolates, snacks and sweet treats, while JDF Fragrance offers a curated selection of scents for different tastes and occasions.
Completing the retail offering, JDF Cold Crafts features beers and soju, from familiar favourites to new finds. JDF Wines & Spirits offers a selection of wines and spirits for shoppers seeking gifts or exploring something new.
The opening forms part of JDF’s refreshed brand identity, continuing its focus on choice, convenience and value across its outlets at Forest City, Senai International Airport and Berjaya Waterfront.
