Yayasan Johor Corporation (Yayasan JCorp) continues to strengthen its role as Johor Corporation’s (JCorp) social impact platform through a Majlis Ramah Mesra with residents of Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Nur Ehsan, reinforcing its commitment to community wellbeing and inclusive development.
The programme brought together Yayasan JCorp volunteers and senior residents in a warm and interactive setting, centred on companionship, shared conversations and festive Hari Raya activities.
As part of its broader community outreach efforts, Yayasan JCorp contributed RM2,500 each to three charitable organisations namely Pusat Jagaan Insan Emas Nur Hidayah, Pusat Jagaan Kasih Rohani and Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Anwarul Mahabbah Care Centre to support their ongoing care for senior citizens and vulnerable communities.
Beyond programme delivery, the initiative reflects Yayasan JCorp’s continued focus on creating structured and sustainable social impact, where community engagements are designed not only to provide immediate support but also to strengthen long-term social resilience.
Chairman of Yayasan JCorp, Rozaini Mohd Sani, said that meaningful social impact goes beyond one-off contributions.
“Caring for the elderly is not only about helping, but about ensuring dignity, connection and continued inclusion in society. At Yayasan JCorp, our focus is on building sustained engagement with communities, where every initiative contributes to a larger, long-term impact.”
He added that collaborations with care centres and community partners remain a key approach in expanding Yayasan JCorp’s reach and effectiveness.
“Through structured partnerships, we are able to strengthen collective efforts and ensure that our programmes deliver consistent and lasting value to the communities we serve,” he said.
As the dedicated Membela arm of Johor Corporation (JCorp), Yayasan JCorp translates the Group’s commitment to improving environmental and social wellbeing through impactful initiatives, expanding opportunities and uplifting communities across Johor and Malaysia.
The Majlis Ramah Mesra reflects Yayasan JCorp’s continued commitment to strengthening community ties, promoting inclusivity and nurturing a culture of care, particularly among senior citizens, while upholding the values of compassion, dignity and shared humanity.
