World Cruises has officially launched World Legacy in Iskandar Puteri, bringing Malaysians a new lifestyle getaway on a floating cruise at sea just off Johor’s coast.
The Johor launch marks the first time World Legacy is welcoming guests directly from Iskandar Puteri, with scheduled ferry transfers from Puteri Harbour Cruise Centre providing convenient access to the vessel throughout the day.
Designed as a flexible day-to-night lifestyle destination, World Legacy allows guests to visit for the day, stay overnight, or extend their escape across several days without the need for a conventional port-to-port cruise itinerary.

The Johor launch begins with a selected range of dining*, entertainment and accommodation experiences, with additional leisure and entertainment offerings to be introduced over the coming months.
World Legacy is designed as a floating lifestyle destination that evolves with the rhythm of the day. Guests can spend the day enjoying food, sea views and time away from the city before the atmosphere becomes livelier in the evening with daily live entertainment.

Additional entertainment, leisure, dining and recreational experiences will be progressively introduced over the next few months.
One of the defining features of World Legacy is the freedom for guests to decide how they want to experience their time at sea. Guests can spend a few hours onboard, enjoy a full day out, stay overnight, or extend their visit into a multi-day getaway.
Multiple scheduled ferry transfers operate daily from Puteri Harbour Cruise Centre in Iskandar Puteri, making it easy for guests to plan their visit around their preferred schedule. With accommodation available onboard, guests can also turn a day at sea into an overnight escape without the planning required for a traditional cruise holiday.
World Legacy features approximately 300 cabins across a range of configurations, including two-person cabins, larger rooms suitable for three to four guests and selected VIP suites.
Dining is a central part of the World Legacy experience. The upgraded international buffet brings together a rotating selection of Asian and international dishes, giving guests a wide variety of choices throughout their time onboard.
The dining experience caters to couples, families, groups of friends and guests staying onboard for longer periods.
Meals are included in selected World Legacy packages, allowing guests to enjoy their time at sea without having to plan each meal separately.
Entertainment comes alive in the evening at the Grand Hall on Deck 3, where guests can enjoy daily live performances featuring music, dance, karaoke and other experiences.
The programme is designed to create a relaxed atmosphere during the day before transitioning into a livelier evening experience. More entertainment experiences are being planned and will be added on board in October and November.

Ahead of its Johor launch, World Legacy underwent an extensive refit and return-to-service programme.
The vessel completed the applicable technical, Class, Flag and regulatory processes required for its return to operation, including inspections, testing and recommissioning of relevant onboard systems and operational areas.
World Legacy is a RINA-class vessel and operates within an established international maritime classification and compliance framework.
Returning and new crew members have also undergone refresher training and drills covering onboard safety procedures, guest guidance, emergency response and muster arrangements.
