Sunway Puteri Hills has officially launched on 10th of August 2026, marking the newest chapter in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri’s growth as a dining, lifestyle and community destination in Johor.
The launch, officiated by HC Chan, Group Managing Director of Sunway Malls, highlighted the destination’s curated F&B concepts and lifestyle experiences while underscoring Sunway’s continued expansion across the Southern Region.
Since its first public introduction in June, Sunway Puteri Hills has drawn attention for its rare hilltop setting overlooking Singapore and the Straits of Johor, and the Jeffrey Cheah Circuit. Spanning over 10 acres with a total developed Gross Floor Area (GFA) and landscaped space of 300,000 square feet, Sunway Puteri Hills has been built around the philosophy of “Curating Places People Want to Belong to”.
At the core of this lifestyle destination are 13 curated F&B lots featuring 11 unique brands making their debut with their very first outlet in Johor.
“What we are marking today is not simply a new building with new tenants – it is the newest chapter in growth story across our Southern Region,” said Chan in his address on the soft launch day, which also touched on Sunway’s wider pipeline of projects across Sunway City Iskandar Puteri and Southern Johor through to 2030.

A Curated Tenant Lineup
The destination brings together a dynamic mix of local favourites, regional names and new-to-market concepts. Among the notable brands is Made on Monday, a minimalist brutalist-inspired cafe concept combining a bold contemporary aesthetic with a curated cafe and art gallery experience.
The halal-certified concept will also introduce exclusive signature beverages and handcrafted speciality drinks. a’rest Cafe will debut its first flagship outlet and largest cafe concept to date, featuring an Asian-Western fusion dining experience alongside private dining spaces for celebrations and gatherings.
Hock Kee Kopitiam will introduce its first ocean-view dining concept, called Makan Makan by Hock Kee together with a dedicated event hall and garden courtyard space designed for weddings, celebrations, and social occasions.

Kaetsu will offer a modern Yoshoku-style dining experience featuring Japanese-Western fusion comfort dishes, alongside premium Wagyu skewers, grilled specialties, and handcrafted Japanese desserts under one roof.
Reef Seafood will feature a 400-pax louvre-inspired banquet dining venue with scenic sea-view dining and a pork-free (No Pork, No Lard) concept for group gatherings and special occasions.
Meanwhile, Khunya Thai will present an elevated premium Thai dining experience featuring regional Thai specialities from across Northern, Central, Northeastern, and Southern Thailand, alongside private dining spaces for intimate and corporate gatherings.

Opening Soon in Q4
Sunway Puteri Hills will also welcome Kenny Hills Bakers, marking its first outlet in Johor and its first sea-view concept outlet in Malaysia, introducing a new scenic dining experience for the well-known bakery brand.
Other notable additions include Cili Kampung, a highly popular local Malay restaurant brand, famous for serving upscale, authentic kampung-style dishes, which also marks its first outlet in Johor.
Padi Villa will make its Johor debut with Malaysia’s first twin-concept dining destination, combining café bakery and full-service restaurant experiences within a scenic sea-facing villa setting.
Together, these brands will reinforce Sunway Puteri Hills as a destination that brings together exciting new concepts, regional favourites and first-to-market experiences, strengthening its positioning as a lifestyle and dining hotspot for Johor and the wider region.

Intentionally Designed Spaces
Beyond dining, the launch introduced five experience zones designed to encourage visitors to slow down and linger – from the Balcony, with its daytime lounge, Stop Shop market and Sunset Circle acoustic sessions, to Viewpoint, home to the Coastal Post Office and Conversation Wall installations overlooking the sea. The walkway of tenants converts to round out the experience with local makers, workshops and a curated open-air market.
New Cross-Border Connectivity
Leveraging Sunway Puteri Hills’ strategic location near the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link, Causeway Link has unveiled a new CW7S bus service, commencing 15th August 2026. The new route will connect Sunway Puteri Hills, Sunway Citrine Hub and Sunway Big Box Retail Park to the Tuas Second Link, providing greater convenience and accessibility for visitors travelling between Johor and Singapore.
The new service will further strengthen Sunway City Iskandar Puteri’s connectivity and complement the township’s growing appeal as a dining, leisure and lifestyle destination.
Sunway Puteri Hills is currently open to the public.
