Ranhill SAJ has partnered with Ryt Bank to promote digital payments for daily utility services in Johor by providing simple, secure, and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered payment options that help residents save money on their water bills.

Ranhill SAJ provides treated and safe water supply to homes and businesses throughout Johor. With the growing adoption of digital payments, Ryt Bank’s AI-based payments allow residents to manage their water bills more efficiently and securely.

The combination of essential utility services and simple digital payment options provides residents with both seamless transactions and tangible financial savings.

Ranhill SAJ Acting CEO Mohd Hedzir Hanafi stated that the collaboration demonstrates the company’s commitment to the well-being of Johor communities.

“Our role is not only to provide treated and safe water, but also to improve the quality of life in Johor.

“Our partnership with Ryt Bank enables us to provide more meaningful savings to all households while also encouraging digital adoption via the Ranhill SAJ app.

“The effort strengthens operations through improved digitalisation,” he explained.

Beginning 27th April 2026, Johor residents who open an Ryt Bank account and pay a minimum water bill of RM10.50 are eligible for cashback on eligible transactions, with a total savings of up to RM6 in two months.

Digital payments via Ryt AI’s Snap & Pay (JomPAY) feature, cashless payments with Ryt Cards through integrated payment channels, and payments at Ranhill SAJ counters are all eligible.

The initiative is part of Ranhill SAJ’s ongoing efforts to expand the use of digital payments, improve transaction efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.

Ryt Bank Interim Chief Executive Officer Wilson Soon stated that the collaboration is consistent with the bank’s goal of making banking more practical and rewarding for Malaysians.

“At Ryt Bank, we believe that banking should be integrated into everyday life. By integrating easy AI-based payments into essential services such as water bills, we are not only making payments easier but also helping customers enjoy real savings through features such as cashback and flexible payment options.

“The partnership with Ranhill SAJ is a step towards making digital banking more relevant, intuitive and accessible to households across Johor,” he said.

People can join the cashback programme and enjoy the convenience of AI-powered payments by downloading the Ryt Bank app.

Ranhill SAJ and Ryt Bank will continue to look for innovative ways to benefit households while also assisting Johor’s transition to a more digital economy.
