PUBG Mobile fans witnessed an exciting climax at PUBG Mobile Campus Championship (PMCC) 2021 as PMS PHANTOM from Politeknik Muadzam Shah successfully sniped and slashed their way to clinching the title of Malaysia’s best collegiate PUBG Mobile team! PMCC 2021 is presented by Yoodo – Malaysia’s first fully customisable and 100% digital telco.
PMS PHANTOM beat out 16 other teams and racked up a total of 2 chicken dinners and 111 points before laying claim to several mouth-watering PMCC 2021 rewards that include: the lion’s share of the RM60,000 prize pool, and the incredible opportunity to represent Malaysia in the upcoming PUBG Mobile SEA Campus Championship (PMCC SEA) 2021.

PMS PHANTOM will also be joined by PMCC 2021’s second and third place winners TFES NOVA and BMI ESPORT from UniKL MIIT and UNIKL BRITISH MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE respectively at PMCC SEA 2021, where they will go up against the best collegiate PUBG Mobile teams from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines.

PMCC 2021 received a total of over 1,000 participants, 344 teams from more than 200 higher learning institutions across Malaysia. The Grand Finals, broadcasted live on Yoodo’s platforms, received over 1 million views. Day 2 of the Grand Finals saw fans enjoying a showmatch between the Top 16 PMCC Teams and 3 influencer teams, consisting of big names such as Soloz, Daddyhood, Yakuza, Boyka, Mossgoku, Manparang, Master Ramen, and Pemburu. The epic yet fun-filled hide and seek ended with the PMCC teams getting the best out of the influencer teams.
PMCC 2021 also featured a Caster Search for the best aspiring commentator, which found its winners in Mohd Izzat Najmi bin Safie (Xenpai) of Universiti Malaysia Perlis and Mohammad Adib Adam bin Mohammad Nawawi (Dibo) from Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam. On top of that, Yoodo introduced a new search for the face of PMCC 2021 through the Campus Ambassador search, for which Nurul Zulaikha Najwa binti Aminuddin Zaki (Juju) and Nur Shameerina Asifa binti Mohammad Shamsul (Curry) both from Universiti Kuala Lumpur landed the winning spots.
