‘Feast & Souk’ features authentic all-time Malaysian favourites and Middle Eastern cuisines made especially for the upcoming fasting month. The whole idea behind ‘Feast & Souk’ is to not only present the best Middle Eastern and Malaysian cuisines, but the hotel also incorporates the element of ‘Souk’ to enliven up the mood by having a bustling Arabian Night Market that includes a collection of local fares for diners to shop right outside.
The main attraction though, is the amazing selection of food available during the buffet. For starters, there are a variety of Malay ‘Ulam-ulam’ and kerabu beside a selection of lettuce with condiments and dressings at the salad bar.
The main course is rotated on a daily basis, between Lamb dum briyani, Shish Tawook, Shish Kebab, Steamed Seabass with Lime and Garlic, Lamb Tagine, Falafel Chicken, Black Pepper Slipper Lobster, Sambal Udang Petai, Daging Masak Hitam, Seafood Paella and Slow Roasted Harissa lamb shoulder, just to name a few.
A must try is the Roasted Lamb Shoulder prepared on the spot which is perfectly tender and comes with a light black pepper sauce, as well as the Portuguese Style Grilled Fish straight from the grill. On the live station you also have Roasted Beef with ‘Air Assam, Chicken Shawarma with condiments, Baharat or Middle Eastern Spiced striploin, depending on which is on rotation.
Not to be left aside are the sweet and delectable desserts, from Snow Ice Station and French pastries. Along with the traditional offers of ‘kuih’, you’ll also find Middle Eastern desserts like Umm Ali, Baklava & Mahalabla.
The whole experience is reasonably priced at RM138 nett per person, and RM96 nett for senior citizens (60 years and above as well as children (6 – 12 years). The feast commences on 15th April 2021 until 10th May 2021, daily from 6.30 pm until 10pm.
