INFINITY8 has officially opened its 14th outlet, INFINITY8 Reserve IIB, at Menara IIB, formerly known as Medini 9, further expanding its footprint across Johor and reinforcing its commitment to supporting businesses seeking to establish and grow within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
Positioned as a catalyst for investment, innovation and cross-border collaboration, the JS-SEZ is expected to create new opportunities for businesses seeking a strategic base for regional expansion while maintaining close proximity to Singapore.
Occupying approximately 13,417 sq ft, INFINITY8 Reserve IIB is located in Medini Iskandar, a key commercial district within Iskandar Puteri that is expected to benefit from increased investment, talent mobility and business activity arising from the JS-SEZ initiative.
The location is approximately 15 minutes from the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link and offers direct connectivity via major transport networks, including the Second Link Expressway (Linkedua), Coastal Highway Southern Link and the North-South Expressway.
The opening comes as Malaysia and Singapore accelerate efforts to strengthen economic cooperation through the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone. This is particularly relevant as growing numbers of Singapore-based companies explore expansion opportunities in Johor.
According to a Singapore Business Federation report, 93% of Singapore businesses surveyed view Johor as an attractive investment destination, reflecting the state’s growing appeal as a location for investment and regional expansion.
For INFINITY8, the new outlet represents more than an expansion of workspace offerings. It reflects the company’s broader vision of creating business ecosystems that help organisations establish, operate and scale successfully within Malaysia.
Medini’s growing commercial landscape further strengthens its appeal for businesses entering the Malaysian market. The area is home to major developments including EduCity Iskandar Malaysia, Gleneagles Hospital Medini, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort and a growing mix of commercial, residential and institutional developments that continue to attract both investment and talent into the region.
“The launch of INFINITY8 Reserve IIB reflects our confidence in Johor’s long-term growth trajectory and the opportunities emerging from the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone,” said Lee Sheah Liang, Co-Founder of INFINITY8. “As more businesses explore expansion opportunities in Johor, they require more than office space. They need access to talent, operational support, local expertise and business networks that can help them establish and grow efficiently. Our role is to provide that foundation.”
While INFINITY8 is widely known for its premium workspaces and flexible office solutions, the company has evolved beyond the traditional coworking model. Today, INFINITY8 serves as a business ecosystem platform that connects companies with talent, corporate support services, business communities and strategic partnerships that facilitate market entry and expansion.
Through corporate solutions such as, Employer of Record (EOR), HR, payroll and recruitment services, networking opportunities and community-building initiatives, INFINITY8 helps businesses navigate the challenges of entering and operating in new markets.
Eligible Singapore SMEs may also leverage support schemes such as Singapore’s Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) Grant, which helps businesses offset costs associated with overseas market expansion, business development and market-entry activities. Combined with opportunities emerging from the JS-SEZ, these initiatives are expected to encourage greater business activity and investment flows between Malaysia and Singapore.
Beyond INFINITY8 Reserve IIB, several INFINITY8 locations across Johor are positioned within areas expected to benefit from the increased economic activity generated by the JS-SEZ, including locations in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru city centre and other established commercial districts. This allows businesses to access a broader network of workspaces and corporate solutions while remaining connected to the opportunities emerging from the cross-border economic zone.
“We believe the future of growth lies in collaboration and connectivity,” Lee added. “INFINITY8 Reserve IIB is designed to bring businesses closer to opportunities, whether that means connecting them with talent, new markets or the resources they need to scale successfully.”
As investment flows, infrastructure development and cross-border collaboration continue to accelerate, Johor is increasingly being viewed as a strategic extension of Singapore’s business ecosystem. INFINITY8 aims to provide companies with the resources, operational support and business networks required to participate in the region’s next phase of growth.
With 14 locations nationwide, INFINITY8 remains committed to helping businesses navigate market entry, workforce expansion and operational growth through its integrated ecosystem of workspace and corporate solutions.
