Johor Jewels won the CelcomDigi NSL Regional Cup 2026, earning an RM20,000 cash prize.
Johor Jewels defeated Terengganu Marvels 56-48 in the fierce final match at the Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara to win this edition’s championship.
Johor Jewels dominated the game from the start, with Terengganu occasionally attempting to close the gap but failing to halt the gems from the south.
“I believe this is one of the longest journeys we’ve ever taken because we began with the pre-season and then moved on to the league and the regional cup.
“All of the players were exhausted by the end of the game, but we kept fighting. We missed out on opportunities in the league competition, but that didn’t discourage us from trying again.
“We finally managed to finish the competition with a very meaningful and valuable success,” said Fariha Razak, Johor Jewels’ team captain.
Terengganu Marvels took second place with a cash prize of RM10,000, while KL Wildcats came in third with a prize of RM5,000.
Meanwhile, Cornelia Mupenda of Terengganu won the Best Defender award, which came with a cash prize of RM1,000, and Fatin Najiha of Terengganu won the Best Attacker award, which also came with a RM1,000 prize.
Gretel Bueta from Johor won the Best Shooter award and received RM1,000 in cash.
Bueta was also named Most Valuable Player (MVP), earning RM1,500.
