The Johor State cycling team now rebranded as Iskandar Johor Cycling Team with the involvement of Iskandar Malaysia’s catalytic developer Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) as its main sponsor has launched the team’s latest jersey at the EduCity Sports Complex in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
Making its first appearance in CIMB Foundation National Junior Stage Race 2019 cycling championship, IIB and MSNJ are working together to materialise a cycling development programme in Iskandar Puteri to support the initiative.
The launch marks the joint venture between IIB and Majlis Sukan Negeri Johor (MSNJ) in uplifting the cycling sports profile and boosting new cycling talent in Johor. “The launch marks a significant joint venture between IIB and MSNJ to ensure that Johor continues to remain as the national-level cycling riders ‘hotbed’, thus contributing to the development of the larger national talent pool. IIB will continue to support the Iskandar Johor Cycling Team as IIB’s initiative for the community development agenda, particularly in the area of sports”.
