Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) has announced that 55 halls nationwide are now INFINITY VISION-certified, the most number of INFINITY VISION certified halls in Malaysia. This offers moviegoers an exceptional Premium Large Format (PLF) experience with bigger screens, brighter visuals and outstanding sound, including formats such as 4DX, ScreenX and GSC BIG certified under INFINITY VISION. The INFINITY VISION certification guarantees a premium theatrical experience designed to make every film more immersive.
Cinemas qualify for INFINITY VISION certification by meeting rigorous standards across key areas, including a minimum of 45 feet wide screen, theaters with either Immersive sound (like Dolby Atmos) or 7.1 sound and theaters with brightness levels reaching either 14 footlamberts in 2D and/or 6 footlamberts in 3D.
The first INFINITY VISION release will be Avengers: Endgame Encore in September, followed by Avengers: Doomsday in December, offering audiences the opportunity to experience these highly anticipated titles in premium large formats.
