Forest City recently organised a Breaking Fast Ceremony for 203 students from Madrasah Tahfiz Al-Quran Ulumuddin in Kangkar Tebrau, as well as the less fortunate from welfare homes and care institutions in Johor Bahru.

Some orphans from welfare homes and care centres around Johor Bahru showed their cheerfulness when they were with the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Forest City at the iftar ceremony.

“It has been Forest City’s practise since its establishment, either through the buka puasa programme or the Aidilfitri festival,” said Ir. Hj. Syarul Izam bin Sarifudin, Deputy Chief Executive of Forest City. Such programmes are halted during the period of movement control. It has been re-started,” he added.

Furthermore, Forest City is back in full gear this holy month, implementing a CSR initiative with the local community. Following this weekend, a cooking session will be held, as well as the distribution of bubur lambuk to locals in seven villages surrounding Mukim Tanjung Kupang.
