The Malaysian Golf Association’s (MGA) National Junior Development Programme (NJDP) is proud to announce the inaugural Majestic Johor Malaysian International Junior Open, to be held from 24th – 26th November at the Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Building on the success of its first junior tournament early this year, the tournament is expanded to include top junior players from the Asia Pacific region. As of the closing date, elite juniors from Malaysia, Australia, Germany, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, India, and Sri Lanka have confirmed their participation, setting the stage for an exhilarating display of young golfing talent.

Leading the Malaysian contingent will be members of the NJDP elite squad, who are already at the Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort, participating in the Junior Camp, gearing up for the tournament.

NJDP Chairman, Fauzi Mesran, expressed his gratitude and excitement, “We are immensely thankful to Johor Tourism for their steadfast support of the MGA NJDP, and to Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort for hosting this prestigious event. I extend my best wishes to all our NJDP players. This tournament is not just a competition; it’s an opportunity to rise to the occasion, and make our country, parents, and the MGA proud. Let’s show the world the spirit and skill of Malaysian golf.”

Several prestigious sponsors, including Colla Group, Crestlink, F&N, HC Duraclean, Hospital Penawar, MSN Johor, and Dama-Dingji Yanwo, have also contributed significantly to the success of this event.

“We invite golf enthusiasts and the public to come to Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort and witness the future stars of golf in action. The Majestic Johor Malaysian International Junior Open is not just a showcase of emerging talent but also a celebration of the sportsmanship, dedication, and camaraderie that golf embodies.”
