Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas is hosting an art exhibition with a difference. To tap into the spirit of giving, they have collaborated with Tans Music & Art Centre to showcase paintings by autistic students. Three students – Ian Kua, age 20; Chan Zi San age 18 and Liew Yih Hsun, age 19 who are extremely talented artists and they paint to express themselves. Each of them has their own favourite topics and themes. For this exhibition, they have painted various themes such as Christmas, beach/resort and marine life. Their paintings are priced from MYR2,000 onwards and part of the proceeds will be channelled to The National Autism Society of Malaysia.
This exhibition is from 22nd December 2021 to 2nd January 2022 to capture the holiday crowd at Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas, members of the public are able to view these 30 paintings from 10 am – 10 pm at the Ballroom. Anantara is hoping the exhibition could create awareness about mental health, especially during these challenging times.
In-house guests attended the launch ceremony which was also in conjunction with the Christmas tree lighting event.
