For the third consecutive year, the Johor State Government is continuing the Yok Balik Raya initiative.

In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Johor Education and Information Committee chairman Aznan Tamin announced on his Facebook page that 30 buses will be sponsored for free to transport more than 550 Johor students from all over the country back to their hometowns.

This programme which began on 20th March 2025, includes students from a variety of universities, including UniSZA, UMPSA, UniMAP, UMK, USM, UPM, UM, UKM, and many others.

Gabungan Anak Johor spearheaded this initiative, which has received full support from the Johor State Government and the Johor State Islamic Religious Council (MAINJ).

“The goal is to ensure that students return home safely, comfortably, and cheerfully.”

“May this journey home bring a thousand joys and Aidilfitri excitement to all Johor children. Welcome back to your beloved hometown,” He added.
