Johor Menteri Besar, Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi has stated that Johor made a revenue collection of RM2.67 billion for 2025, the highest ever recorded.
In a Facebook post, Onn Hafiz made a statement that the state’s revenue collection would continue to be returned in the form of development, facilities and welfare of the people of Johor.
“Hopefully this achievement will be a starting point for Johor to continue moving forward in a more organised and competitive manner to ensure a developed, prosperous and peaceful future for the state.”
“I recognise that there is still much that can be improved and streamlined.”
“Therefore, the state government will continue to strive to do better to ensure that state revenues are used fairly and that more people can benefit from them,” he added.
Onn Hafiz has also thanked the Regent Sultan of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, for his unwavering support, guidance, and ongoing advice, which emphasised the importance of governance and state stability for the well-being of the people.
He also thanked all parties involved in the state’s economic development, including State Secretary Datuk Asman Shah Abd Rahman, the State Executive Council, State Assemblymen (ADUN), and all civil servants.
Government agencies, government-linked corporations (GLCs), and the Johorean people were all acknowledged.
