Over the past decade, R&F Princess Cove has transformed into a thriving, modern community with diverse amenities and a rich cultural atmosphere. The Celebration features a variety of exciting activities, including a photo exhibition of historical Johor Bahru, property investment seminars, international art camp 2024, and ‘Little Teresa Teng’ Concert. A multitude of guests and the public have gathered at R&F Princess Cove to enjoy this extraordinary blend of history, investment, and art.
The ‘Timeless Johor Bahru: Stories in Images’ Photo Exhibition debuts Shu Qingxiang’s new book “Timeless Johor Bahru: Stories in Images’ in an engaging visual format. This exhibition vividly depicts the historical changes and development of Johor Bahru. The exhibit is divided into three sections: historical events of Johor Bahru, significant milestones of R&F Princess Cove over the past decade, and the advantages of the new Johor-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) and the Johor-Singapore Economic Special Zone policies.
The event was officially inaugurated by He Chaodong, President of the Johor Bahru Chinese Association, and Shu Qingxiang, a renowned historian and author. They rang the opening bell together, as symbolic opening for the event before Shu Qingxiang led a the entourage, providing detailed explanations of Johor Bahru’s history to the guests.
‘Rise of Johor: The Next Big Wave in property Investment’ Seminar
Additionally, a real estate investment seminar titled ‘Rise of Johor: The Next Big Wave in property Investment’ was held, featuring a captivating presentation by renowned investment expert Ryan Khoo. He provided an in-depth analysis of the opportunities fueled by the Johor-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) and the Johor-Singapore Economic Special Zone policies. He also shared practical investment strategies tailored for this emerging hotspot. The seminar attracted a diverse audience of investors from Malaysia and Singapore. The lively interactions and discussions further highlighted Johor Bahru’s growing appeal as a premier investment destination.
The Art Bridge International Art Camp: Bridging Cultures through Art
On the same day, the Art Bridge International Art Camp, co-organized by the Southern University College Museum & Art Gallery and the Malaysia-China Culture and Arts Association (PKKMC), and co-supported by the Urban Sketchers JB, City Art Gallery, and R&F Princess Cove, was held vibrantly at the R&F Mall.
From nearly 20 countries and regions, 180 oil painters, along with approximately 30 local artists, gathered for a group photo session in front of the R&F Princess Cove sales gallery, capturing the Johor-Singapore Causeway in the background. They then proceeded to R&F Mall to paint and exhibit artworks, including pieces themed around the 100th anniversary of the Johor Causeway. Tan Chai Puan, Director of the Museum & Art Gallery in Southern University College, highlighted that this event marks Johor Bahru’s first-ever large-scale international art exhibition. The exhibition commenced with an opening ceremony at 6PM and showcased at R&F Mall in Johor Bahru from Saturday, 13th July, to Monday, 15th July, inviting everyone to visit and view the artworks created by talented artists.

In celebration of R&F Princess Cove’s 10th anniversary, the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House hosted the ‘SWEET AS HONEY TRIBUTE – TERESA TENG LUOLAN LIVE CONCERT’ on July 12-13, performed by the winners of the ‘Johor Bahru Good Voice’ Talent Search and Luo Lan, known as “Little Teresa Teng”.
