Ranhill SAJ has partnered with Yes to launch an initiative that aims to reduce household expenses while improving digital connectivity for Johor residents.

When eligible households sign up for selected Yes 5G Advanced broadband plans, they will receive a monthly rebate on their water bills for the next six months.

“Our role goes beyond delivering safe and reliable water services. We are committed to improving everyday living for the households we serve,” interim Chief Executive Officer Mohd Hedzir Hanafi said.

He added, “Through this collaboration with Yes, we are able to introduce meaningful savings for families while encouraging greater digital engagement through the Ranhill SAJ app. It is another step towards building a more connected and digitally empowered Johor.”

Ranhill SAJ, Johor’s main water supplier, recognises the increasing significance of internet connectivity in day-to-day living and provides treated water to homes and businesses throughout the state.

By assisting families in staying connected online and reducing ongoing household expenses, the partnership is intended to meet both needs.

Yes, the first local telco to implement 5G Advanced technology is supporting the offering with benefits like a free premium router and a year of popular streaming service access.

“Reliable internet connectivity has become a necessity for households today. Through this collaboration with Ranhill SAJ, we are proud to bring Malaysia’s Most Advanced 5G Network into more Johor homes while helping families enjoy additional savings on their water bills,” YTL Communications chief executive officer Wing K. Lee said.

The initiative also encourages users to use the Ranhill SAJ mobile app for account management, billing access, and service updates as part of a larger push to increase digital participation.

Serving over 1.8 million households, the collaboration is part of Johor’s larger push for a more connected and digitally empowered community.

Residents of Johor can participate as follows:

1) Downloading the Ranhill SAJ mobile app

2) Signing up for any eligible Yes Broadband plan

3) Providing their SAJ water account number for verification

4) Once verified and the account is activated, customers will receive a RM10.50 monthly voucher for their water bill for the first six months

The broadband subscription can also be completed at www.yes.my/ranhillsaj or at select Yes Stores in Johor.
