Joland Group’s Paragon Globe Berhad distributed food to patients and frontline personnel at the COVID-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre Pasir Gudang at the Pasir Gudang Indoor Stadium (PKRC Pasir Gudang), recently.
Mineral water, instant drinks, packed drinks, cup noodles, and biscuits were supplied to 1,000 patients and frontline workers at the PKRC Pasir Gudang.
Dato’ Sri Edwin Tan Pei Seng, Executive Chairman of Paragon Globe said, “This contribution was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. We hope that our small contribution could aid patients and frontliners during these trying times.”
“Paragon Globe is always committed in supporting the effort of the frontliners to fight COVID-19. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to the frontliners who continue to risk their lives, oftentimes without rest,” he added.
This makes the 8th CSR programme by Paragon Globe since the enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in March 2020.
