ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri held a blood donation drive as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, reaffirming the hotel’s commitment to supporting community health and wellbeing.
Held from 10.00 am onwards at Praline & Truffle Hall, ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri, the initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru, bringing together the hotel’s teams, guests and members of the local community to contribute to the nation’s blood supply.
The programme was supported by General Manager of Hotel, Charanita Gill, alongside the dedicated medical team from Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru, who managed the blood donation process, including donor screening and medical procedures throughout the programme.
The blood donation drive forms part of the hotel’s commitment to creating a positive impact within the community. Through its CSR initiatives, the hotel aims to encourage its teams, guests and members of the public to participate in meaningful activities that contribute to society.
Blood donation plays an important role in supporting healthcare services, with donated blood required for patients undergoing surgeries, accident victims and individuals requiring blood transfusions as part of their treatment. By organising this initiative, ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri hopes to support the ongoing need for a safe and adequate blood supply while raising awareness of the importance of voluntary blood donation.
