SECURE
‘Sustainable Socio-Economic Recovery Initiative in Iskandar Malaysia’ is a programme to help SMEs launched during the 15th year anniversary of IRDA

SECURE@IskandarMalaysia is a series of programmes that will help the socio-economic recovery of the community and small and medium-sized enterprises in Iskandar Malaysia across three areas of reskilling and processing, capacity building, and funding and grants.

Programmes aimed at assisting employers in the Iskandar Malaysia area through two grants, namely Iskandar Malaysia Job Grant (iMEG) and Youth to Biz, were established in collaboration with the Johor Entrepreneurs Body (PUJB) (Y2B).

iMEG is structured to assist employers in paying half of their workers’ salaries, while Y2B helps companies revitalise their operations by providing financial assistance in the fields of skills, facilities, transportation, and other areas. Terms and conditions are registered, contribute to the EPF, and are applicable to all industries and sectors.

Applicants will use this project to find the best programme to help them recover and sustain their livelihoods by developing soft skills and receiving the requisite grants and funds to support their businesses.

The total grant sum is RM2 million, with the goal of launching 80 new companies and offering 200 new work opportunities for young people.

Business owners should continue to register their interests and find more grants that could meet their needs here http://iskandarmalaysia.com.my/secure/ Feedback should be expected within one month of submission.
