The Johor government’s Covid-19 vaccination programme for economic frontliners ImmuPlan, commenced on 29th July 2021.

The programme, which opened for registration on 29th April this year, aims to aid frontline workers in the economic sector such as Malaysian workers with a valid work permit, employment offer letter and employer letter in Singapore.

According to a post on the ImmuPlan Facebook page, all eligible individuals will be scheduled daily, based on their ImmuPlan registration date. Those who register early will receive an earlier appointment date.

“The ImmuPlan programme schedule will be done individually through the MySejahtera app where participants can also check the location, time, and date.

The programme will be conducted daily until all eligible economic frontliners have been vaccinated,” read the statement dated 28th July.

Those who have registered for the programme are reminded to check their vaccination schedule on the MySejahtera app, and after their vaccination date and time have been confirmed, confirmation, as well as a reminder email, will be sent.

For starters, on the first day of the ImmuPlan initiative, up to 1,000 frontline workers in the state are expected to receive their COVID-19 shot.

Earlier this month, Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said that under the ImmuPlan programme, a total of 100,000 vaccination doses would be offered for economic frontline workers, particularly those in the industrial, retail, and government sectors.
