Jobstreet by SEEK and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in building a future-ready digital workforce and supporting Malaysia’s growing digital economy.
The collaboration combines Jobstreet by SEEK’s labour market insights and MDEC’s digital ecosystem to enhance talent development initiatives, improve workforce planning and seamlessly connect employers with skilled digital talent.
Through the partnership, Jobstreet by SEEK will provide insights into Malaysia’s digital technology talent landscape, including labour market data, hiring trends and analysis of in-demand digital skills. The company will also participate in talent development initiatives within MDEC’s ecosystem, including graduate employability programmes, industry forums, roundtables and knowledge-sharing sessions.
MDEC in turn would leverage Jobstreet by SEEK’s labour market insights to support its talent development initiatives and acknowledge Jobstreet by SEEK as the source whenever these insights are used in its reports and presentations. MDEC will also facilitate industry connections by supporting engagement between Jobstreet by SEEK and companies within its ecosystem seeking talent solutions, including Malaysia Digital (MD) Status companies and potential investors.
