Johor Interior Designers Association (JIDA) Design Awards 2019 recently held their 2nd awards ceremony and gala night at the Austin International Convention Centre (AICC). Ahead of the awards’ night, an exhibition of the sponsors and contending participants’ design works were held. This was followed by renowned jury panels from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia sharing their works and thoughts before proceeding to gather for an hour of forum there to discuss on South East Asia Design Trends and Market Challenges.
Hosted by Dr. Eric Leong who is also the JIDA 2019 Chief Judge, the jury panels who attended the forum were Chris Bosse, key designer of the Beijing National Aquatics Centre, Dato’ Tan Su Cheng, PDI Design and Associate managing partner, renowned sustainability architect, Ar. Yap Yew Peng, celebrity interior designer, Peter Tay and Founder of Panorama International Ltd, Hong Kong, Horace Pan with the attendance of participants with different backgrounds in the related industry.
