In order to permit the introduction of the truss construction for the Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link Project, train services at JB Sentral Station will be temporarily discontinued beginning tomorrow, 11th June 2026.
In a statement released today, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) stated that travellers on the ETS EP9535 and EG9449 trains will use the intermediary bus service between Kempas Baru Station and JB Sentral to continue their journey during the closure time.
Additionally, staff and ambassadors will be stationed at both locations to assist passengers, and designated places for passenger pick-up and drop-off will be available.
The statement reads, “To ensure safe and smooth movement during the closure period, passengers are advised to adhere to the signs and instructions from the staff.”
