Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) has been recognised by Newsweek and Statista as one of the World’s Best Hospitals in 2026.

This international recognition is evidence of the ongoing efforts made to improve the calibre of healthcare facilities and services, which are currently producing noteworthy outcomes.

“To guarantee the ongoing well-being of the people of Johor, a number of improvement efforts have been put into place recently. But rather than being seen as the end, this milestone is seen as a springboard for more advancement and quality in the healthcare industry,” shared Johor State Health and Environment Committee chairman Ling Tian Soon on his Facebook page.

Despite the accomplishment, Ling stated that the recognition shouldn’t be used as an excuse to slow down. Rather, it should be an inspiration for Johor’s healthcare system to continue developing and raising standards.

He continued by saying that the state continues to prioritise preserving and enhancing healthcare services.

Ling also thanked the physicians, nurses, and other medical staff at the hospital for their hard work and devotion.

He said that one of the main reasons for the award was their continuous efforts to provide high-quality service, and that the Johor state administration will keep trying to improve and fortify the state’s healthcare system.
