Have Labour-Related Grievances?

Employees can now use an app to file an issue/complaint with the ministry and remain anonymous

Working for Employees (WFW) is a forum for 15.7 million workers, including foreign workers, to file concerns about labour problems, according to the Ministry of Human Resources (KSM).

Minister of Human Resources, Datuk Seri M. Saravanan assured that the complainants’ identities would be kept private, and that reports obtained through the app would be resolved within three to seven days.

After releasing the WFW application in connection with 2021 Labour Day, he assured the media that the status of the complaints will be supervised by KSM’s top management, including himself and his deputy Datuk Awang Hashim.

“WFW is a mechanism in ensuring that the interests and safety of employees who have been harmed by their employers are secured. This will help ensure that employers and workers follow national labour standards in an informal way”, he also added that the WFW is evidence that the government takes labour problems seriously and transparently.

WFW allows workers to report 14 types of complaints online that will be managed by 80 labour offices nationwide. WFW is available in Playstore and AppStore.
