“2020 has been one of the most challenging years for all employers in Malaysia. The crisis has underscored the critical importance of a powerful employer brand to an organisation’s success and ability to emerge stronger from the pandemic. Many extraordinary employers have worked hard these past 12 months to ensure the safety of their employees while managing the serious economic consequences. Even as Malaysia is not out of the woods, we are confident that the economy will make a strong comeback in time to come. We hope to see local employers continue to foster meaningful relationships with their workers and strive to be the people’s choice for work.”

A testament to its consistent and outstanding achievements in employer branding, Randstad has inducted PETRONAS (Petroliam Nasional Berhad) into the Randstad Hall of Fame since 2020. PETRONAS has brought home the most attractive employer accolade three consecutive times from 2018 to 2020. The Hall of Fame is the highest and most prestigious accolade handed out in the Randstad Employer Brand Award, reserved only for employers who have won the awards three times in five years.
