With an attendance of over 4000 fans, Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza’s exclusive “A Night To Remember” performance at Persada Johor International Convention Centre was a sold-out concert for two consecutive nights.
Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza or dearly known as ‘Siti’, an internationally acclaimed Malaysian iconic artiste said she was so touched and encouraged to see the turnout for her performance, especially when fans showered her with praises and gifts during the Photo and Meet session after the concert.
“My dearest fans, thank you so much for coming from near and far just to spend an evening with me. I know many of you are from Johor but I have also been told that quite a number of you are from Melaka, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia.
“As a performer, nothing warms my heart more than seeing people appreciating me and my songs. From the stage, I can see all of you, and I thank each and every one of you for coming during those two nights,” she said.
Siti shared the stage with two other popular sensations, Aina Abdul and Khai Bahar, and the trio belted out more than 20 songs – both solo and duet.
Cheers and screams filled the concert hall at the start and end of each performance as Siti performed one song after another. She also took breaks in between to chat and joke, much to the delight of her fans.
The crowd went wild with cheers when the artiste stepped down the stage to take a walk among those seated below. She sang songs with her fans and took some photographs with them before going up the stage again.
Siti continued to entertain her fans with a few more songs before the curtain fell.
The multiple-award winner is the first megastar to kick off the “A Night To Remember concert series” – a signature brand concert that Persada Johor plans to organise annually.
Persada Johor General Manager, David Emir Bareng, shared that the concert was to showcase both local and international talents who have successfully carved a name for themselves in the entertainment industry through hard work and determination.
“We are proud that Persada Johor has pinned this event on Johor’s events calendar and we are sure that there is also a multiplier effect to the surrounding hotels and F&B outlets for the past few days,” added Bareng.
The concert was held over two nights on 16th and 17th December. After the concert, “Siti Situ Sana Sini” category ticket holders were entitled to a Photo and Meet session with Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza while the “Nafas Cinta” category ticket holders attended a Fan Meet with Aina Abdul and Khai Bahar.
The event was made possible through collaboration with Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre (Official Hotel), BestFM (Official Radio), Visit Johor (Official Social Media) and sponsors, KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Suasana Suites, Zenith Lifestyle Centre and Gafas Media. The event was managed by Co:action Events Sdn Bhd.
