As part of its ongoing efforts to improve the highway infrastructure and to lay the path towards the construction of the Additional Lane Project on the North-South Expressway (NSE) from Senai Utara to Kulai (Phase 1 Package B) at Johor, PLUS will be closing the Smart Lane from Kulai to Senai at KM26.5 to KM19.3 (Southbound) on the NSE starting from 22nd September 2025.
Throughout the construction works, the existing two lanes at the affected stretch will remain open to maintain traffic flow and to minimise traffic disruptions for highway users.
Highway users are encouraged to plan their journeys using the PLUS app for the latest traffic updates. Users are also reminded to obey all traffic signages and instructions issued by PLUS personnel when passing through the construction zone.
For real-time traffic updates and assistance, users may also refer to the PUTRI Virtual Assistant, X@plustrafik, electronic signboards (VMS) at selected locations, or contact PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000 in case of emergencies.
