Johoreans joined in the fun downtown
In conjunction with Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club (JDT) championship in Malaysia Super League (MSL) 2019 for the 6th consecutive time, JDT Foundation hosted J6 Neon Fun Run team comprising a 5km stretch at Dataran Bandaraya Johor Bahru on Friday, 19th July 2019.
The flag-off started at 5.30pm and officiated by Dato’ Haji Mohd Noorazam bin Dato’ Haji Osman, Chairman of JDT Foundation Board of Trustees. Other members of the board; Dato’ Haji Ismail bin Karim, Tuan Mohd Khuzzan bin Abu Bakar, Tuan Haji ‘On bin Jabbar @ Ja’afar were also present, witnessed by Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali, the State Youth, Sports, Entrepreneurship Development and Cooperatives Committee Chairman and JDT Foundation’s General Manager, Raja Fouzeel Akmal bin Raja Zainal.
The J6 Neon Fun Run had three categories namely individual from JDT Foundation’s donor, individuals (non-donor of JDT Foundation) and family (husband & wife with children under 12 years old). Participating fee was RM20 for JDT Foundation individual donor while RM30 was imposed for non-contributor individuals and RM50 for family categories. No charges were imposed on senior citizens as well as disabled individuals.
According to Chairman of Yayasan JDT Foundation, Dato ‘Haji Mohd Noorazam, besides encouraging a healthy lifestyle, the run could also attract even more contributors to collect funds for future use in developing JDT’s structure like welfare, health, education, sports and social.
The event also featured exclusive and exciting lucky draw prizes for the runners which included gold bar, hotel stay vouchers, smartphones and many more.
