The song of the summer, “Golden” continues to make history topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart at #1 for three weeks, and earns the biggest sales week for any song in 2025. KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) climbs the charts for a ninth consecutive week with over 3 billion global streams to date and continues to be the highest charting soundtrack of the year.
KPop Demon Hunters has gone up, up, up, and it’s their Golden moment! The original animated film officially became Netflix’s most popular film of all time on the Most Popular English Films list, while also reigning at the top spot as Netflix’s most popular original animated film! This past week, like Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop,” the film continues to be all that fans can think of, every time they (figuratively) drink up, as it spent another week in the Top 10 with an additional 30.1 million views. This number of views in a film’s 11th week is something no other film has ever accomplished — consider the Honmoon sealed!
The soundtrack features original songs written by, Danny Chung, IDO, Vince, KUSH, EJAE, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick, Daniel Rojas, and produced by Teddy Park, 24, IDO, DOMINSUK, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Ian Eisendrath. Original songs are performed by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI, Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav, and Lea Salonga. The soundtrack also includes the original song “Takedown” featuring Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung from K-pop powerhouse girl group, TWICE.
