Wuxi Hyatech Co Ltd (Hyatech), a precision components company listed in Shanghai, China, has chosen Iskandar Puteri, Johor as the location of its new manufacturing facility.
The company will set up a facility for the research, development, and manufacturing of forged orthopedic medical implants and aircraft components at i-TechValley.
Thru its subsidiary Pentagon Land Sdn Bhd, AME Elite Consortium Bhd (AME Elite) will construct the facility for Hyatech’s Malaysian affiliate, HYA Industry (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
The facility will be built on a 2.75-hectare plot of land with a built-up size of about 220,000 square feet.
The initiative would increase the number of international tenants using i-TechValley in the JS-SEZ zone, according to a statement from AME Elite.
The project is also aligned with Malaysia’s transition towards advanced manufacturing under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030).
A significant component of Hyatech’s US$70 million foreign expansion strategy, which was unveiled in November 2025, is the new plant in Johor. According to the statement, “the plan includes establishing operations in Malaysia and Singapore to support the development of global markets and optimize the group’s supply chain capabilities.”
Strengthening Hyatech’s precise manufacturing presence in the area is another goal of the development.
Hyatech will use high-precision technology at the i-TechValley plant to produce intricate parts for the aerospace and medical industries. The company produces compressor blades used in commercial aircraft engines all around the world in the aerospace industry.
Hyatech serves the worldwide market for orthopedic medical devices by utilising the same specialised manufacturing capabilities.
Hyatech’s choice of i-TechValley, according to AME Elite Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer Dylan Tan Teck Eng, demonstrates the company’s capacity to offer facilities for high-precision operations.

The latest project adds to AME Elite’s experience in the aerospace and aviation industries. The company has won a contract worth RM214.1 million to build an aeronautical test cell facility for KLIA Aeropolis Sdn Bhd.
The new manufacturing base in Johor is a key component of Hyatech’s broader $70 million overseas expansion announced in November 2025. The expansion includes establishing operations in Malaysia and Singapore to accelerate global market development, enhance supply chain capabilities, and further strengthen the company’s precision manufacturing presence in the region.
