Allianz Malaysia Berhad celebrates opening of new southern regional office
Spirited drum beats and a lion dance performance stirred up the celebratory mood at the grand opening of Allianz Malaysia Berhad’s newest regional branch at SouthKey Mosaic which moved from Jalan Serampang in Taman Pelangi.
The opening ceremony on the 29th of July was presided over by Chief Executive Officer Zakri Khir who handed out gifts to the winners of their outreach campaign and officiated the ribbon cutting ceremony alongside members of the senior management committee.
The new office is one of the 33 branches nationwide and is a synergised working space which houses both insurance subsidiaries of Allianz Malaysia Berhad, namely, Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (Allianz Life) which offers a comprehensive range of life and health insurance and investment-linked products as well as Allianz General Insurance Company Malaysia Berhad (Allianz General) which covers a broad spectrum of services in personal lines; small to medium enterprise business and large industrial risks.
The new full-service branch occupies a spacious 14,726 square feet and is aimed at enhancing customer experience by encompassing the Allianz Life’s Sales office, Allianz General claims hub, a customer service area and is equipped with two training rooms to cater for agent-led training and events. On top of the regional claims hub at the Johor Bahru branch, the company boasts four other branches located Johor which are situated in Kluang, Segamat, Muar and Batu Pahat.
“The move to SouthKey was timely as we look towards catering to the growing needs of our customers, agents, brokers and business partners. Johor Bahru is the biggest branch in the southern region which serves more than 100,000 customers and close to 800 agents,” said Zakri in his keynote address.
