Be part of the fun in the run before SUKMA 2020
Get into MBJB Colour Run 2019, a joint-organised event with JomRun Sendirian Berhad on 6th July 2019 at 7am at Bangunan Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru, Jalan Dato’ Onn.
Registration for the run is open for local and international participants, as a part of promoting Johor Bahru city as an attractive, active and wellness sporting attraction to international tourists. In line with Johor being the host for SUKMA 2020, MBJB Colour Run 2019 is an effort to promote Johor Bahru city and Johor as a hub for international sports destination.
There are 2 categories for the run, 5KM and 10KM. Early Bird tickets are made available until 6th June 2019 and the fee is RM48 for 5KM and RM58 for 10KM. Normal fees would be RM58 and RM68 for each category respectively after the said date. 200 Early Bird tickets have sold out within 48 hours since it was first up for sale. By popular demand it is then extended until 6th June 2019.
Interested individuals, groups and corporate may download the Jom Run app and register through the app before the closing date on 6th June 2019 or until the last day the tickets are being sold. Around 2,000 participants have registered and organisers are targeting around 4,000 participants.
Participants would each receive a race-kit that contains a t-shirt, finisher medal, colour powder, bib and personal accident insurance. Collection of the race kit would be held at Dataran Bandaraya Johor Bahru on a date that to be announced later through the Jom Run app.
Malaysian Red Crescent is appointed as the safety and emergency care provider during the event to ensure safety and comfort for participants. Other necessities like water would also be provided.
