Scam alert on illegal housing agents that promise ridiculously quick solutions
Institut Pembangunan Pengurusan Johor (IPPJ) had organised a Housing and Property Carnival Johor 2019 at Angsana Johor Bahru Mall. The seventh annual event was officiated by was officiated by Johor’s Housing, Communication and Multimedia Committee Exco, Sr. Haji Dzulkefly Ahmad.
As there are recent cases where home buyers were being scammed by fake agencies in the state, the fair helped potential buyers to stay informed and inquire directly on anything they need to know about Rumah Mampu Biaya (RMB) Johor, an affordable housing effort by the state government.
Sr. Haji Dzulkefy in his speech warned buyers to stay vigilant of scams on home ownership agents that are still at large. Some of them were already identified and are waiting to be arrested while a few are still out and about.
