Following the Consumer Sentiment’s index by the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research for the fourth quarter of 2022, the Malaysian consumer sentiment is showing signs of continued improvement despite dwindling spending plans. With expectations for the resurgence of shopping trends back to pre-pandemic levels, ShopBack Malaysia’s General Manager, Eddy Han said, “As shoppers head back to the malls, they are also now more conscious about their spending, and are seeking more financially sustainable alternatives when making purchases.
