A major part of any holiday enjoyment has to be the food and especially now since the festive season is coming soon. While preparing festive meals is part of joyful giving, it can also be time-consuming especially when you have segments of people to celebrate with – colleagues, friends etc.
To that, DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru has prepared a Season of Splendor buffet at their famed Makan Kitchen that serves an array of dishes, suiting everyone’s taste buds.
In comes North Indian mutton dish called the Rogan Josh and Kofta, Malay-style Tulang Rusuk Belado (Chilli Ribs) and Makan Kitchen’s famous Chinese New Year’s Treasure Pot filled with seafood specials made it to their aisle of food as well this season!
Tempted to have a go on the variety of delicacies, I filled up my plate quickly with appetisers like the fresh Beetroot Curlax Salmon Graylax and Beef slices.
My favourite had to be the sumptuous Beef Wellington and of course, to get the Christmas season going for my tummy, I had the Roasted Sage marinated Turkey with sauce and discovered that having Tandoori Chicken with mint sauce on the side is perfect as well.
The sweet side is filled with classic Gingerbread, Macarons and a variety of cakes. The one that I enjoyed so much was the Apple Cinnamon Mousse, a joy for everyone to share as it’s easy on the teeth and fun on the tongue!
You will get to meet Santa Claus bringing you some gifts at the signature Christmas Buffet Dinner at Makan Kitchen which is available from the 23rd to 25th of December 2022, at 6.30 pm to 10.00 pm, priced at RM188nett per adult and RM94nett per child. A minimum spending of RM600 will allow you to have a chance of winning prizes from their Wheel of Fortune.
Makan Kitchen will also be serving Christmas High Tea Buffet from the 24th to the 26th of December 2022, from 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm priced at RM108nett per adult and RM54nett per child.
