Paragon Bizhub Ink Deal with Shimano Components

The deal demonstrates the confidence of Shimano Components in Paragon Globe’s capabilities to provide a well-planned industrial project

Paragon Globe Berhad (Paragon Globe) through its wholly owned subsidiary, Paragon Bizhub Sdn Bhd (Paragon Bizhub) introduced its design and building of a factory in Mukim Jeram Batu.

Shimano Components (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Shimano Components) has been investing in Malaysia since establishing its manufacturing plant in Pekan Nenas, Johor, Malaysia in 1990, purchased two units of the single-storey detached factory with a double-storey office in Pekan Nenas Industrial Park with a built-up area of 135,343 sq ft and land area measuring approximately 4.95 acres for RM45 million based on Paragon Bizhub’s design and build concept. The manufacturing factory is expected to be completed in 2024.

Chia Chin Seng, Managing Director of Shimano Components, said, “These two units complement our existing manufacturing facility in Pekan Nenas and we will continue to invest. This transaction marks another milestone in Shimano Components’ portfolio and in line with the Company’s growth and expansion.
