Hard Rock International has appointed Jimmy Wong as General Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Puteri Harbour, which is set to debut in late 2021. In this job, Jimmy will be in charge of supervising the overall operations of the state’s first Hard Rock Cafe, as well as developing and implementing plans for the cafe’s market expansion.

Jimmy has almost 20 years of experience in hospitality, primarily in managerial roles in the Food and Beverage (F&B) department of a variety of multinational hotels and franchise brands, and will be continuing his adventure with his team at Hard Rock Cafe Puteri Harbour. With great confidence at work, his job as General Manager allows him to use his knowledge in the hospitality sector, offering amazing and unforgettable experiences to all HRCPH fans.
Scheduled for its soft opening in the fourth quarter of 2021, Hard Rock Cafe Puteri Harbour will be the very first Hard Rock Cafe in the state of Johor, and second in the southern region of the West Coast of Peninsula Malaysia. Previously during a virtual press conference, Jimmy said, the target to hold a soft launch in December 2021 is due to the confidence of the nation’s vaccination rate to achieve herd immunity by the said time. He also assures that the establishment would follow strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) from both Hard Rock Cafe and the Ministry of Health’s guidelines.
The latest cafe would give all diners a scenic Harbour view as it sits in the heart of the ever-rising city of Iskandar Puteri, surrounded by an abundance of facilities, entertainment and amenities. In addition, HRCPH will be practising the SAFE + SOUND programme in order to ensure the health and safety of all guests as a top priority throughout this pandemic.
