The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Johor Chapter and The Iskandarian Newspaper have recently collaborated to bring local news to hotel guests in the comfort of their rooms.

“The Iskandarian newspaper is our very own home-grown newspaper catered only to the Iskandarian region and with news content that matters to both corporate and leisure travelers on what’s going on in Johor.  There is no better way to let them know about us than to have it in the rooms where they stay while visiting Johor and which will definitely help promote local news, places of interests, leisure events that is happening and also investment opportunities,” said Ivan Teo, Chairman of MAH Johor Chapter.

Providing news online is the way forward, providing easy access via a QR code that guests can scan on their mobile phones upon check in.
