23-Hour Water Cut in Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi and Pontian

On 21st and 22nd April, there will be a planned 23-hour disruption to the water supply in three districts – Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi, and Pontian.

The disruption is planned to start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and end at 8 a.m. on Wednesday due to maintenance work at the Sungai Johor Water Treatment Plant, according to Johor water operator Ranhill SAJ Sdn Bhd.

In a post on its Facebook page, the company stated that “water storage tanks in each premises can last up to 24 hours under normal use and if there is no storage tank, users are advised to prepare sufficient water storage containers.”

The official Ranhill SAJ Facebook site, Setitis Yang Bermakna, has a complete list of the areas that were disrupted in Tiram, Skudai, Bukit Indah, Iskandar Puteri, Kota Tinggi, and Pontian.
