During these traumatic times, Care United Johor Bahru (Care United) continues to rise to the challenge and provide assistance to where it is needed most. At the start of the year, Care United conducted its first Food Aid for 100 underprivileged families in PPR Melana Indah (Taman Perling).

Annually, Care United has continued to provide Food Aid to this community who values any assistance given in meeting their needs.

Contents of Food Aid placed inside recyclable tote bags for the 100 recipients

The Food Aid hamper was valued at RM55.00 per recipient and contained everyday essentials such as rice (5kg pack), canned sardine, evaporated milk, cooking oil (1kg), Milo (1kg) and 2 packs of rice vermicelli. Care United has allocated a sum of RM5,500.00 for this Food Aid, and despite rising costs, it is hoped that this Aid helped the families to reduce their household expenses.

Care United is thankful to the continued support of donors and they hope other corporate partners will continue to support this community work done by Care United Johor Bahru throughout the year. Care United is a tax-exempt NGO and all donations of RM51.00 and above are tax deductible. 100% of the donations are channelled towards its projects.
