According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia), the annual monsoon season is forecast to run until March 2021. Anticipating that some customers in high risk areas might experience flooding, Zurich Malaysia (Zurich) has deployed a fleet of five Zurich Flood Aid vehicles to expedite non-motor claims of these affected customers. This initiative provides Zurich customers a faster and more convenient way to lodge a claim.

Taking lead from METMalaysia’s statement on high risk areas, the fleet will roam the roads of Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching throughout the monsoon season. Adjusters will be at hand to conduct assessment on the spot if the affected site is accessible and discuss the quantum of loss or damage for claims up to RM30,000.

The Zurich Flood Aid vehicles will also distribute flood relief to ease claimants’ recovery process during the difficult time.
