XOX signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MyDigital ID, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Finance (MOF), on the 30th of September 2025 at the opening of CYBERDSA 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. The MoU was witnessed by Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Chairman of Aerosea Exhibitions, Al-Ishsal Ishak, Chairman of the Board, Cybersecurity Malaysia, and Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital Malaysia.
As one of the first telcos to formalise this partnership, XOX is taking a bold step to champion the adoption of MyDigital ID through its flagship MySiswa programme. The initiative will integrate secure digital identities into higher education, empowering students, strengthening campus engagement, and accelerating Malaysia’s digital future.
Through this collaboration, XOX will mobilise its nationwide youth network to accelerate the adoption of MyDigital ID, while embedding real-world use cases across universities and campuses. In addition, XOX will lead joint campaigns, roadshows and campus activations to position MyDigital ID as the trusted enabler of Malaysia’s digital economy.
Datuk Kenneth Vun, Managing Director of XOX, said, “This partnership marks a bold new chapter for XOX. By driving the adoption of MyDigital ID through MySiswa, we are equipping students with secure identities that unlock trust, safety, and opportunity. The signing of this MoU reflects the shared vision of XOX and MyDigital ID to accelerate digital transformation, empower youth, and position Malaysia as a trusted leader in the digital age.
