“UMLand is very concerned and sympathetic to the victims of the toxic fumes crisis in Pasir Gudang. We are also very moved by the tireless efforts of volunteers and NGOs hence why we are doing our part by making this contribution,” said KK Wong, UMLand Group Director of Townships.

“UMLand is a strong advocate of Smart Healthy living and we implore others to adhere to best practices to avoid a repetition of what has happened. As winners of the inaugural Iskandar Malaysia Social Hero Awards (IMSHA) in 2014, UMLand has channelled our donation to fellow IMSHA winner Malaysia Red Crescent”, added KK Wong.

UMLand continuously works hand in hand with IMSHA winners as UMLand Seri Austin is also a winner of the inaugural IMSHA in 2014 for their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
