MRT Corp through its Rapid Transit System Link (RTS Link) has released an announcement on Johor Bahru Information Department Facebook’s post that trial closures for intermittent closures would take place 24 hours for 14 days to facilitate PUB 900 mm pipe relocation works.
The closures would take place along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak (City Centre & Danga Bay-bound) from the 22nd of June 2022 until the 6th of July 2022.
According to the statement for the first map, during the activation of the right lane closure along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak for a stretch of 100 metres starting from the elevated circle of Jalan Tun Abdul Razak until in front of JLand Tower, motorists will be diverted to the left lane and to use the remaining one (1) lane on the elevated circle and two (2) remaining lanes along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak (in front of JLand Tower) to continue the journey (as indicated by the GREEN arrows in the appended map).
As per the second map, during the activation of partial right lane closures for a stretch of every 50 metres along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, motorists will be diverted to the remaining lanes to continue the journey (as indicated by the BLUE arrows in the appended map).
Every closure was mentioned to be conducted simultaneously.
Motorists are advised to follow the traffic signage and the direction of the flagmen during the activation of these road closures.
