In conjunction with the PETRONAS Twin Towers’ 25th anniversary, several exciting art and cultural activities are set to take place from the 30th August to the 1st of September 2024 at the PETRONAS Twin Towers Visit. This three-day celebration will mark its silver anniversary since the iconic landmark first opened in 1999, promising an enriching experience that highlights Malaysia’s rich heritage and pride.
Highlights include a range of activities at Level 83, such as demonstrations of Tiffin painting, songket notebook crafting, mengkuang weaving, batik painting, and traditional cultural performances.
Alongside these activities and performances, visitors will also get to enjoy a mini photo exhibition in the concourse area. The exhibition will showcase the renowned work of photographers Siva Kumar, Aereon Wong, and Amri Ginang, capturing the architectural magnificence of the towers and the splendour of the Kuala Lumpur skyline.
Moreover, visitors will also get to capture breathtaking views of the vibrant Kuala Lumpur cityscape from its interlinking Skybridge at Level 41 and the expansive Observation Deck at Level 86. Visitors can also strike their best pose for a “magazine cover” at the Photo Op Box. Furthermore, they can also engage with a special anniversary anamorphic art, creatively crafted from various recycled materials, aimed at promoting sustainability.
