The Stellar Affection charity event held at Paradigm Mall JB, in collaboration with UCSI University Springhill & Seremban Campus and Stellar Education Group, had successfully raised over RM170k, demonstrating a strong commitment to youth education and community support.
Some of the activities and workshops that took place during the event included Fabric Recycling Initiative, led by Yok Impact Sdn Bhd, and the ‘Second Cloth that Matter’ campaign which encourages sustainable living, contributed significantly to the event’s fundraising. Meanwhile, the Young Entrepreneurs’ Showcase had Stellar International School students displaying adaptability, by merging their food stalls to create new culinary delights, illustrating the potential of young entrepreneurial minds.
Performances by children affiliated with various educational groups added a vibrant cultural dimension to the event. Several organisations had also hosted Educational Workshops which provided valuable learning experiences to all attendees, enriching the event’s educational focus. Besides that, WuRen Production offered a unique, personal aspect to the event, creating lasting family memories through the Family Portrait Session. Asia Best Consulting provided insights into financial literacy, aligning with the event’s goal of empowering attendees with knowledge through their Wealth Management Workshop.
The event’s highlight is when UCSI University Springhill & Seremban Campus offered a 50% Diploma Scholarship for seven children, highlighting the university’s dedication to accessible education. The Second Life Cloths was also recognised for their substantial support in providing rewards and gifts, enhancing the event’s appeal and fundraising success.
