SDS Group Achieves Malaysia Book of Records

SDS is officially crafted into Malaysia Book of Records during its 36th anniversary celebration

In honour of its 36th anniversary, which was celebrated at Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, Malaysia Book of Records accredited SDS chain Berhad, the nation’s most well-known bakery café chain from Johor.

The record made by SDS Group Berhad is “First Home-Grown Bakery Café Listed on Bursa.” SDS Group Berhad was public listed in 2019 and hass proved to become the record holder in Malaysia as a local bakery café company listed on Bursa.

Lee Pooi Leng, an officer from Malaysia Book of Records, officially passed the certificate of national records to Tan Kee Jin, the Executive Director of SDS Group Berhad during the group’s 36th anniversary celebration.

“We are proud to break the record, and proud to have the support from our customers to break the record,” said Tan.

In conjunction with the 36th anniversary celebration, SDS made an 80-inch birthday cake that featured the design of their company headquarters. Over 500 customers at Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru received cake slices from Tan and his 30 staff members.

SDS had also released 1000 balloons from level two of the shopping mall, and the icing of the cake was that there were 500 prizes hidden inside the balloons! The balloon drop session inspired shoppers to grab the balloons and burst them to reveal their surprise.

The anniversary concluded with new membership registration promotions and lucky draw claw machine for Mooncake spenders.
